following the launch of its shenzhen and beijing branches in 2018, MUJI hotel will open its third location in the brand’s hometown japan this april. located in the ginza area in tokyo, the lifestyle brand’s latest property has begun taking reservations on march 20 on its official website.

described as ‘anti-gorgeous’ and ‘anti-cheap’, the MUJI hotel will offer guests a place to stay at a ‘reasonable’ price. interiors embody the understated, minimalist aesthetic that the brand is well-known and loved for, with 79 rooms built with a focus on sustainability featuring recycled materials throughout. guests can choose from nine suite types (A-I), spanning twin spaces with twin or bunk beds, a semi-double, and large open-plan rooms complete with reading nooks and a wooden bathtub…
