Three restaurants based in Taipei have been recognized as among the top 50 in Asia, while a Taichung restaurant was dubbed “One to Watch,” by awards organizer William Reed Business Media.

Odette in Singapore took the number one spot, followed by Gaggan in Bangkok, and Den in Tokyo.

The contemporary European-style restaurant MUME, in Taipei’s Da’an district, clinched the No. 7 spot. Also listed among the 50 Best Restaurants were the award-winning RAW, in 30th place, owned by acclaimed Taiwanese chef Andre Chiang (江振誠), followed by Japanese restaurant RyuGin Taipei (31)…
