The month-long 13th Havana Biennial Art Exhibition will take place in Cuba’s capital from April 12 to May 12, and for the first time, 10 young Chinese artists will exhibit at the internationally renowned art event and showcase their contemporary works.

The Chinese artists and their curatorial team met the press at the Hanwei International Art Center in Beijing on Tuesday afternoon and shared their expectations for the Biennial. The Cuban Ambassador to China, Miguel Angel Ramirez Ramos also attended the press briefing and extended a warm welcome to the artists.

The Ambassador said the soon-to-be exhibited artworks bring together traditional, modern and high-tech forms of art, and showcase the sophistication of Chinese contemporary art.
